Jake is a dual role Patrolman. He rides with Rockatansky as partner and is also a MotoPatrolman. He was out on 3 day motopatrol during the pursuit of Crawford 'Nightrider' Montizano and was not called in on it due to dispatcher's ruling of pursuit as standard code 44. Jake is eerily effective at interrogation, he seems to know just what will cause a suspect to volunteer information. He's also responsible for the creation and maintenance of the Main Force Patrol website.
